Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Urgent Care team. The role involves providing safe, high-quality nursing care to children presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have PICU or urgent/emergency care experience, strong assessment skills, and a family-centred approach to care. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while developing expertise in paediatric urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and nursing assessment of paediatric patients
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following paediatric protocols
• Assist with and perform minor procedures within scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition and promptly escalate concerns or deterioration
• Provide clear information, reassurance, and education to children and families
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to infection control, safeguarding, and patient safety policies
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Support service efficiency, quality improvement, and professional standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid UAE License or eligibility.
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.

• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in PICU or urgent/emergency care.
