Staff Pharmacist

Job description

You will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. You will provide essential healthcare advice, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards related to pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.

Provide counseling and advice on the proper use of medicines, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and suitability.

Maintain accurate patient medication records.

Manage inventory, ensuring the availability of essential drugs and minimizing stock discrepancies.

Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.

Stay updated with new medications and pharmaceutical developments.

Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Do daily, weekly and monthly stocktakes

Identify near expiry medicines and act on them promptly

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
