Staff Pharmacist

Vale Road Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy seeking a pharmacist with a valid CA Board of Pharmacy license to work part time / full time.

The pharmacist would be responsible for performing various pharmacist duties including verification, consulting, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Our hours are always Monday - Friday between 9 am to 5 pm, no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly verify prescriptions to assure accuracy.
• Supervise the work of pharmacy techs and other support staff while on duty.
• Counsels patients on safe and appropriate use of drugs, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Assist pharmacy staff with efficient workflows and daily operations.
• Handle and resolve customer issues and questions to build customer trust and loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with controlled drugs reporting requirements, applicable laws, regulations, organizational policy & procedures.
• Perform additional assignments as needed to support the growth of the pharmacy.

Requirements

• Current CA pharmacist license in good standing.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting (can include experience while on internship).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be reliable, punctual, fast learner, and professional.
• Excellent communication skills
