Staff Physical Therapist

Job Title: Staff Physical Therapist Full Time or Part-Time

Job Summary:

PTC is looking for one final person to complete the team as a Staff Physical Therapist! This is a great opportunity to work in a community that values our time and talent and works vigorously to be part of their treatment team! We have set the groundwork of 20+ years of performing evaluations, providing physical therapy diagnoses and providing evidence based treatments along with experience based knowledge. Qualifications:

• Education: A Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid Missouri state license to practice as a physical therapist.
• Certification: Not required, offered as part of employment with stipulations for length of time to remain employed.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing a wide range of physical therapy interventions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
• Physical Stamina: Physical therapists should be physically fit and capable of performing manual therapy and assisting patients with exercises.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to make clinical judgments, adapt treatment plans, and solve complex patient-related problems.
• Compassion: A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing empathy and understanding of patients' needs and concerns.
• Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills to manage a caseload of patients efficiently as well as assisting co-workers when needed.

Working Conditions:

• Staff Physical Therapists will work in a 7200 square foot facility with a small walking track, closed and curtained treatment rooms with gym areas.
• They may work with patients of all ages and a wide range of medical conditions.
• The job may require standing, bending, and lifting, as well as prolonged periods of patient interaction.
