Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) works within the Board of Pharmacy's Licensing Unit B. The SSA performs less complex analytical research and review to assure the minimum requirements are met for the specialized advanced practice pharmacist, all designated representative license types, and the intern pharmacist to qualify for licensure.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period as outlined on "Section 2113 - Personal Leave Program (PLP)" of the CalHR Manual. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control. The ability to use a personal computer and telephone is essential. The incumbent may spend 75%-85% of the working day using a personal computer. The position requires bending and stooping to retrieve files; walking, sometimes outdoors in inclement weather; and occasional light lifting, up to 15-25 pounds.
