We are currently seeking a Staff Trainer for our Downtown Nashville location. As a key member of the Education and Training Team, the Staff Trainer will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our clinical and non-clinical staff by providing foundational training for new hires and ongoing support for current employees. This role supports our mission to deliver exceptional patient care by equipping staff with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Foundation Training:

  • Lead training sessions for new hires, covering systems, role-specific tasks, and patient-centered care principles.
  • Complete competency assessments for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with leadership and preceptors to ensure smooth transitions from Foundation Training to Role-Specific Training.

Ongoing Training and Support:

  • Provide remedial training and one-on-one support to existing staff as needed.
  • Assist with training related to workflow changes, new protocols, or system updates.
  • Participate in annual job-specific competency evaluations to ensure continued excellence.

Collaboration and Training Development:

  • Partner with key stakeholders (Nursing Director, Clinical Nurse Educator, Compliance Coordinator) to refine and enhance training programs.
  • Provide feedback to improve training materials and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of performance metrics for patient care excellence.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage new hire insurance logins and ensure completion of orientation documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between new hires, hiring leaders, and preceptors for seamless onboarding.
  • Participate in weekly clinical education meetings to discuss training strategies and updates.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication: Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing with diverse staff.
  • Training & Presentation Skills: Comfortable delivering engaging training sessions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently while remaining flexible to changing needs.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical office procedures.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs. Knowledge of electronic health systems is a plus.
  • Time Management: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • LPN or RN Licensure in the State of Tennessee required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting; training experience in classroom setting, required
  • Epic credentialing required within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $42.00 per hour
