Staffing Coordinator- STNA/LPN

Meadowbrook Care Center is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care by maintaining appropriate staffing levels across all shifts.

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating nursing staff to meet resident care needs in compliance with federal and state regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to staffing challenges.

Key Responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator:

• Develop and maintain daily and monthly nursing schedules.

• Keeping track of holiday rotations

• Putting out BIPPA daily

• Secure coverage for open shifts and respond to staffing shortages, including stepping in when necessary.

• Monitor staff attendance, call-offs, and timekeeping, and report to the Director of Nursing (DON).

• Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling and conducting interviews.

• Communicate staffing needs and updates to the DON and Assistant DON.

• Ensure compliance with all healthcare staffing policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator or in a scheduling role within a healthcare setting is required.

• Experience with ONSHIFT is preferred

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
