Our concierge home care agency in Hewlett, NY, is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to ensure our clients receive the highest level of care by expertly matching caregivers and nurses with the right clients.
About the Role:
As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between clients and caregivers while maintaining a high standard of care. This role requires on-call availability and after-hours support to manage urgent scheduling needs and ensure continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client-Caregiver Matching: Assess client needs and preferences to assign the most suitable caregivers or nurses.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Provide caregivers with clear job expectations, client preferences, and training to ensure a smooth transition into their assignments.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage and adjust caregiver schedules, ensuring punctuality and coverage at all times.
- On-Call & After-Hours Support: Be available to handle urgent scheduling changes, emergencies, or client needs outside of regular business hours.
- Client Engagement: Regularly communicate with clients to assess satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
- Quality Assurance & Retention: Monitor caregiver performance to maintain high-caliber care, client safety, and satisfaction.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of assignments, caregiver credentials, and client preferences.
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in social work, home care staffing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong client and caregiver relationships.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, ensuring timely caregiver placement and top-quality service.
- Flexibility to be on-call and available after hours for urgent needs.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records.
