Stagehand (Event Production Crew – Growth into Audio/Lighting/Video Tech)

Job Overview

GTX Productions is hiring Stagehands to join our event production crew. This is a hands-on role supporting corporate and public events, working with audio, lighting, and video equipment.

This is a contract, as-needed position. Work is scheduled based on event demand.

We are actively looking for individuals who want to grow into Audio, Lighting, or Video Technician roles. High performers will have opportunities to advance quickly within the company.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with setup and breakdown of audio, lighting, and video equipment
• Load and unload gear, including cases and staging equipment
• Support technicians during live event setups and transitions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site
• Follow direction from lead techs and production managers

Work Environment

• Event-based schedule (hours vary per job)
• Typical calls range from 9 AM – 6 PM, but early mornings and late nights can occur
• Indoor and outdoor work environments
• Fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable loading/unloading trucks and moving equipment
• Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods

Pay

• Half Day (up to ~6 hours): $125 – $150
• Full Day (up to ~12+ hours): $175 – $225
• Pay increases based on performance and advancement
