Renew Staging & Design is growing, and we are looking for a motivated, design-minded, relationship-driven Staging & Design Consultant to help us expand our staging and design services throughout the Triangle.

Renew is backed by Capital Discount Furniture, one of Central North Carolina’s highest-rated furniture stores, with a large local showroom, extensive vendor relationships, in-stock furniture options, and an experienced delivery/installation team. This gives Renew a unique advantage in the staging and design space... we are not starting from scratch, we are building on a strong foundation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves home staging, interior styling, real estate, business development, and relationship-building. The right person will help grow Renew by working with agents, homeowners, builders, investors, and property managers while also supporting staging consultations, design projects, and residential listing preparation.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct staging and design consultations for homeowners, sellers, agents, and real estate partners

- Create room-by-room staging recommendations for occupied and vacant homes

- Help select furniture, accessories, rugs, art, lighting, and décor for staging projects

- Coordinate with our internal team on quotes, inventory, delivery, installation, and destaging

- Build relationships with real estate agents, brokerages, builders, investors, and property managers

- Represent Renew and Capital Discount Furniture in the community

- Follow up with leads, quotes, and referral partners in a timely and professional way

- Help create repeatable systems for staging proposals, consultations, and project execution

- Support social media, before-and-after content, testimonials, and project photography when needed

- Look for opportunities to turn staging clients into design clients and design clients into CDF customers

What We’re Looking For

- A strong eye for design, style, layout, and presentation

- Experience or strong interest in home staging, interior design, real estate, furniture, or related fields

- Confidence working with agents, homeowners, and professional referral partners

- A proactive networker who enjoys building relationships and asking for business

- Strong organization and follow-through

- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and details

- A positive, polished, team-oriented personality

- Comfortable working independently while staying accountable to goals

- Willingness to attend networking events, brokerage meetings, showroom tours, and community opportunities

- A practical design mindset - beautiful, marketable, and budget-conscious

Compensation

Base salary plus commission and bonus opportunity.

Expected first-year earnings: $60,000 –$90,000+, with additional upside as Renew grows.

Compensation will be based on experience, performance, project revenue, and relationship development.

Schedule

- Full-time

- Some flexibility required for consultations, installs, agent meetings, and occasional events

- Primarily Triangle-based
