Stajyer İngilizce Öğretmeni/Intern English Teacher

Linguist Language School is looking for Intern Part-Time English Teachers for their Young Learner and General English Programs for the 2025-26 Academic Year.

ABOUT US

Linguist is in Kısıklı Mahallesi near Altunizade in Istanbul. We offer English courses for adults and young learners since 2013. We are not a franchise of a language school chain. Therefore, our work environment and conditions are quite different from a typical language school. In return, we are ready to work with highly qualified experienced and inexperienced teachers. We offer reasonable holiday options within the year, side rights and extra benefits in addition to a satisfactory income including a 1-year contract to full-time teachers.

PROGRAM TYPES

Young Learner English programs are held face-to-face on Saturdays between October and May every academic year at our center in Kısıklı. Our students range from kindergarden to 12th graders. Your availability and eagerness to teach young learners at the weekends is a MUST for this position.

We also offer one to one either face to face or online lessons for kids. The face to face lessons can be held either at our center, at the student's place or online. These programs are tailor made. The candidate teacher should be available to teach according to all of the three alternative ways.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

We are looking for long term and qualified teachers with the following qualifications.

The ideal candidate …:

• should be ready to teach 12-30 hours a week.
• should be ready to teach in the evenings and at the weekends online and/or face-to-face.
• should preferably have one year of teaching experience as a student teacher.
• MUST be a senior (last year) student or a new graduate of an English Language Teaching, American/English Literature department preferably with pedagogical formation. We cannot accept diplomas of non-teaching or language related fields.

• an in-service training program which you will be given while teaching for Linguist.

• a positive reference for your future teaching career after completing this academic year.
