Starbucks Barista @ FHSU Union

Overview:

Join our team as a Barista at our bustling coffee shop where you will be the face of our establishment, creating and serving delicious beverages to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages following recipes with precision
- Operate coffee making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Handle cash and operate the cash register with accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning coffee machines, utensils, and work areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns promptly
- Sell additional items to customers

Requirements:

- Previous experience in food handling, food service, or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee varieties and preparation methods is a plus
- Proficiency in basic math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong retail math skills for handling transactions accurately
