Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items in accordance with company standards.
• Engage with customers warmly, providing personalized service to enhance their café experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols.
• Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while ensuring accuracy in cashiering and food preparation.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

• Previous barista or food service experience is preferred, especially within a café or retail environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting through effective time management.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques.
• Experience with serving beverages and food items while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks associated with café operations. Pay: $16.95 - $17.50 per hour
