Startup Valuation & Pitch Analyst

Job Description:

We are hiring an analyst who already has hands-on experience delivering the full fundraising package for startups. The person must know how to perform all core tasks independently and will be expected to produce them again with the same quality for each client.

Core Responsibilities (you must already have experience doing these):

1. Revenue Forecasting

• Build multi-year projections from scratch.
• Identify revenue drivers, cost structure and breakeven points.
• Justify assumptions with logic and basic research.

2. Valuation Reports

• Perform valuations using DCF, market multiples, scorecard or VC method.
• Build valuation models independently in Sheets/Excel.
• Prepare polished valuation reports explaining approach, assumptions and final valuation.

3. Equity Advisory

• Create and manage cap tables.
• Analyse founder–investor splits, dilution and round structure.
• Provide clear recommendations on equity distribution.

4. Investor Pitch Deck Creation

• Build complete investor decks from a blank page.
• Write crisp narrative and structured content.
• Design clean, professional slides in Canva.
• Include market sizing, competition, business model, GTM, financials and fundraising ask.

Expectations:

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collect inputs from founders and convert into structured outputs.
• Conduct market and competitor research.
• Deliver complete investor-ready documents for each project.

Required Skills:

• Strong financial modelling
• Practical valuation knowledge
• Understanding of equity and startup fundraising
• Pitch writing and slide design
• Good research and communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and Canva

Preferred Background:

• BBA/BCom/MBA Finance
• CA Inter, CMA Inter, or CFA Level 1
• 1–3 years experience in valuation, financial analysis or startup consulting
