Position Overview

The Station Manager – Phoenix will oversee all aspects of the station’s business development, operations, and team leadership. This individual will drive financial growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while collaborating closely with the Executive Team. This is a dynamic role requiring both strategic management and operational execution to ensure the continued success and expansion of IGL’s Phoenix operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership
• Direct and manage Domestic, International, and Warehouse Operations teams in the Phoenix office.
• Ensure efficiency and accuracy across shipment handling, cost management, and customer service.
• Oversee all operational processes and workflows, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training, coaching, and compliance oversight for all team members.
• Business Development
• Develop and execute a business strategy focused on financial growth and client satisfaction.
• Identify new market opportunities and maintain key client relationships.
• Arrange and participate in meetings with prospective and existing clients to promote IGL services.
• Contribute to marketing and sales initiatives in coordination with corporate leadership.
• Financial & Administrative Oversight
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, cost control, and invoicing accuracy.
• Collaborate with Accounting on audits, reporting, and process improvement.
• Manage rate agreements, contracts, and vendor relationships to maximize profitability.
• Cross-Department Collaboration
• Serve as the liaison between the Phoenix station and the IGL Executive Team.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting within company CRM and operational systems.
• Support interdepartmental coordination with Accounting, Compliance, Sales, and Administration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Proven leadership experience in operations and/or business development.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel quarterly to corporate and station locations; additional travel as needed.
• Commitment to ethical practices, integrity, and customer-centered service.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 DOE

Bonus: Eligible for quarterly performance-based bonuses
