Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to join our engineering team. In this role, you will lead the company statistical analysis program for multiple Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) sites across the United States (currently, TX, IL, OH, and PA) in compliance with the US EPA’s Coal Combustion Residuals regulations and state specific regulations (currently TX, IL, OH). This individual must be able to evaluate groundwater data from multiple sampling events at each site to define background data and establish the required Groundwater Protection Standards (i.e., Background Threshold Values and local Groundwater Protection Standards). Experience in the use of ChemPoint/ChemStat software, EnvStats (using R Studio) and Excel programs to do quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual you will harness the power of advanced statistical methods, machine learning frameworks, and big data systems to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your expertise in statistical modeling, AI implementation, and data mining will be instrumental in developing predictive models, evaluating AI models, and deploying scalable solutions across cloud environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, TensorFlow, Spark, Hadoop, and natural language processing tools to solve complex research challenges and optimize business outcomes.
