A STEAM Trainer plays a pivotal role in shaping young innovators by delivering hands-on, project-based, and experiential learning sessions across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The role focuses on nurturing curiosity, creative problem-solving, and practical skill development through engaging classroom sessions, structured activities, and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct interactive STEAM sessions using project-based learning, experiments, models, and demonstrations.
  • Guide students in applying concepts through hands-on projects in robotics, aeromodelling, design thinking, coding, AI basics, electronics, and introductory fabrication.
  • Facilitate experiential learning by integrating tools, student kits, and digital platforms to strengthen conceptual understanding.
  • Support students in building practical 21st-century skills including critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and computational thinking.
  • Prepare lesson plans, activity guides, and session materials aligned with the curriculum.
  • Ensure smooth usage and upkeep of STEAM lab equipment, tools, and student kits.
  • Assess student progress through observations, activities, and project outcomes.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
  • Coordinate with school teams and internal teams to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Contribute feedback to enhance curriculum, training quality, and student experience.
  • Participate in events, school showcases, exhibitions, and STEAM-related activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong foundational knowledge in one or more STEAM domains (Robotics, Coding, Electronics, Aeromodelling, AI Basics, Design Thinking).
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver them in an engaging, activity-driven manner.
  • Comfortable using educational kits, tools, and digital learning platforms.
  • Effective communication and classroom-management skills.
  • Ability to guide students through collaborative projects and problem-solving tasks.
  • Passion for experiential and skill-based education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electronics Engineering is required.
  • Prior experience in teaching, training, STEM/STEAM environments, or maker-spaces is preferred.
  • Strong enthusiasm for mentoring students and fostering creative learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
