STEAM & Upper Elementary Instructor (Part-Time)

Overview:

Lotus Learning is seeking passionate, creative, and student-centered educators to join our growing homeschool learning center team.

We are currently hiring for two instructional roles:

• STEAM Instructor (Elementary)
• Blossoms Instructor (Grades 4-5)

Both positions involve leading small-group instruction in a supportive, relationship-focused learning environment. Instructors may also have the opportunity to take on additional one-on-one instructional hours before or after center programming.

We are looking for educators who can create engaging learning experiences, build meaningful connections with students, and support a variety of learning styles and needs.

ResponsibilitiesSTEAM Instructor

• Plan and facilitate hands-on STEAM lessons and projects
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking
• Create an engaging and interactive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and participation

Blossoms Instructor (Grades 4-5)

• Lead small-group instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Support executive functioning and independent learning skills
• Differentiate instruction based on student needs
• Foster confidence, growth mindset, and student engagement

Additional Opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certification exam results required
• Teaching, tutoring, homeschool, or educational experience required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Florida teaching certification
• Experience with homeschool students
• Experience with special education, differentiated instruction, or project-based learning
• STEAM-related teaching experience (for STEAM Instructor applicants)

Schedule

• Part-time
• Daytime center hours
• Additional afternoon and evening opportunities available

Pay

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
