Position: Steel Designer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Company: MRFS POWER BUILDING CONTRACTING L.L.C

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in steel structure design and detailing.
• G+12 Approved by Dubai Municipality.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication drawings, connection details, and shop drawing preparation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and prepare accurate fabrication/shop drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Strong coordination skills with design, engineering, and site teams.
• Immediate joiners or short notice preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed steel structure shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Review and update structural designs, layouts, and connection details.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure all drawings comply with DM standards and project specifications.
• Support design and technical teams in authority submission and revisions.
• Assist in material take-offs, BOQs, and technical documentation.
