Steel Erection Engineer

Role Summary:

The Steel Erection Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and executing all on-site structural steel erection activities. The role demands strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure safety, quality, and productivity throughout project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead steel erection works according to approved drawings and schedules.
• Supervise lifting, alignment, and bolting of steel structures with precision.
• Coordinate daily with fabrication, QC, and safety teams for seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE, and quality standards.
• Monitor manpower, equipment utilization, and work progress.
• Prepare and submit daily reports and site documentation.
• Support project engineers in technical reviews and on-site problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in steel structure erection and fabrication projects.
• Knowledge of lifting procedures, rigging plans, and structural alignment.
• Strong site management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
