Steel Erection Supervisor

We are seeking a minimum two year experienced and safety-driven Steel Erection Supervisor to oversee daily steel erection activities on construction and fabrication projects. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and accurate installation of structural steel, coordinating teams, equipment, materials, and site operations to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead steel erection crews, ensuring safe work practices at all times
• Coordinate daily activities including lifting, bolting, welding, rigging, and alignment of structural steel
• Review drawings, blueprints, erection plans, and project specifications
• Plan work sequences, allocate manpower, and arrange materials and equipment
• Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with engineering requirements
• Conduct job-site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and enforce all safety protocols
• Inspect installed steel for alignment, bolt tensioning, welding quality, and structural accuracy
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trade supervisors
• Resolve site challenges, work delays, or material discrepancies efficiently
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and documentation of activities.
