Steel Erector / Field Installer – Structural & Misc Metals

Job Summary
Shaw Welding is hiring an experienced Steel Erector / Field Installer with a background in structural steel and miscellaneous metals. This role involves installing stairs, railings, structural members, and other fabricated steel on active construction sites. Only applicants with structural steel or misc metals installation experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install structural steel and misc metals (stairs, rails, ladders, etc.)
• Read and work from shop/erection drawings
• Perform layout, rigging, and bolt-up
• Work safely at heights and on active job sites
• Coordinate with foreman and other trades

Requirements

• Must have structural steel / misc metals experience
• Ability to read drawings
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable working at heights

Preferred

• OSHA 10/30
• Welding experience
• Lift/rigging experience
