Steel Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabrication Engineer to join our Closets & Kitchen manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and supervising steel fabrication works related to kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shelving systems, and customized metal structures, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists for steel components used in closets and kitchen units.
• Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of approved drawings.
• Supervise steel fabrication processes including welding, bending, cutting, and finishing.
• Ensure compliance with UAE standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
• Conduct material take-offs, cost estimation, and production planning.
• Inspect fabricated items for quality, dimensions, and finish before delivery and installation.
• Provide technical support during installation and resolve site-related issues.
• Optimize fabrication methods to reduce material wastage and production time.
• Maintain proper documentation for drawings, revisions, and production records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in steel fabrication, preferably in closets, kitchens, or interior fit-out industry.
• Proven UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, welding methods, and finishing processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D knowledge such as SolidWorks is an advantage).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Good understanding of materials, hardware, and accessories used in kitchens and wardrobes.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
