Steel Fabrication & Erection Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

>Supervise and coordinate steel fabrication and erection activities, including cutting, welding, fitting, assembly, and installation.

>Ensure all fabrication and erection works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

>Monitor workforce productivity and allocate tasks efficiently to meet project schedules.

>Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

>Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and erected structures to maintain quality standards.

>Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC team, and project management for smooth workflow

>Maintain daily progress reports and provide regular updates to management regarding fabrication and erection status. >Identify and resolve fabrication and erection issues at the workshop and on-site locations.

>Supervise alignment, bolting, welding, and installation of structural steel members.

>Ensure proper usage, handling, and maintenance of tools, machinery, lifting equipment, and erection materials.

Requirements:

>Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

>Minimum 5 years of experience in the Steel Fabrication and Erection field

>Strong knowledge of steel fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and welding processes.

>Familiarity with structural steel, industrial fabrication, and erection works.

>Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.

>Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.

>Knowledge of safety regulations, lifting operations, and quality standards.

>Experience in workshop fabrication as well as site erection activities.

>Ability to handle manpower, materials, and site coordination effectively.

>Familiarity with inspection procedures and QA/QC documentation is an advantage. >Ability to read and interpret technical drawings >Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
