Steel fixer

Responsibilities:

• Cut, bend, fabricate, and fix steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh for concrete structures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and specifications.
• Tie rebars using wire and secure them in position before concreting.
• Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and placement of reinforcement according to design.
• Operate cutting, bending, and fixing tools safely.
• Follow health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members for timely project execution.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a steel fixer in construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Skilled in cutting, bending, and fixing reinforcement bars.
• Physically fit with good stamina for site work.
• Knowledge of safety practices and correct handling of tools and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
