Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to cut, bend, and install reinforcement steel bars and mesh used in concrete structures. The candidate should understand reinforcement drawings and ensure proper placement according to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh.
• Install reinforcement for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
• Tie reinforcement bars using wires and hand tools.
• Ensure spacing, cover, and alignment are as per drawings.
• Coordinate with carpenters and supervisors before concrete pouring.
• Inspect completed reinforcement work for quality and safety.
• Maintain tools and keep work area clean.
• Follow all site safety requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a steel fixer.
• Ability to read reinforcement drawings.
• Knowledge of steel fixing tools and equipment.
• Good physical condition and ability to work on-site.
• Understanding of construction safety standards.
