Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Steel Fixer. The Steel Fixer will be responsible for cutting, bending, and positioning steel bars or mesh in concrete structures based on technical drawings. Daily tasks include assembling and securing steel reinforcements using tools, ensuring structural stability, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating closely with engineers and construction staff. Maintaining and repairing tools and equipment will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in using Power Tools effectively
• Proficiency in Welding and working with Iron
• Understanding and adherence to Fall Protection standards and practices
• Experience with Rigging, including securing and moving heavy loads
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to perform tasks in various working conditions
