Steel Fixing Foreman (Substation)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all steel fixing activities on site
• Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS)
• Ensure correct cutting, bending, placing, and fixing of reinforcement steel
• Check bar spacing, laps, anchorage lengths, cover, and alignment prior to concrete works
• Allocate daily tasks to steel fixers and monitor productivity
• Coordinate with site engineers, formwork teams, and other trades
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available as required
• Maintain quality standards and address any non-conformance issues
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and safe work practices
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, and attendance
• Assist with inspections and resolve consultant/client comments

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixing Foreman on construction projects
• Strong knowledge of reinforcement works and construction standards
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and BBS
• Good leadership and team supervision skills
• Knowledge of site safety practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
