Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Steel Structure Design Engineer to join our team.

Education & Professional Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in steel structural design and detailing.
• Experience with industrial, commercial, and high-rise steel structures.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, BS5950, Eurocodes, ACI).
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures).
• Ability to prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Experience in connection design, baseplates, and stability analysis.
• Knowledge of seismic and wind design considerations.
• Familiarity with fabrication, erection, and constructability requirements.
• Understanding of steel grades, welding standards, and corrosion protection systems.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination in steel structures.
