Steel Structure Drafter

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Structure Drafter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting, with proven experience in interpreting and preparing technical drawings for steel structures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for steel structures.
• Interpret and convert engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality drafting outputs.
• Review and revise drawings as required to reflect design changes.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good command of both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Male candidates only.
• Experience criteria:
• If over 30 years old → Minimum 6+ years of experience in steel structure drafting.
• If under 30 years old → Minimum 3+ years of experience in steel structure drafting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of steel fabrication and construction processes.
• Familiarity with international drafting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
