Job Description: STEM Educator

Role Overview:

As a STEM Educator at REAP, your primary role will be to educate students in STEM subjects through hands-on experiences. You will develop and deliver engaging lessons, conduct practical activities, collaborate with teachers, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of STEM education materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

Develop and deliver comprehensive STEM lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

Create hands-on activities, experiments, and projects to promote experiential learning.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with school teachers to integrate STEM concepts into existing curricula.

Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing STEM activities in classrooms.

Student Engagement:

Engage students in interactive learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Assess student understanding through observations, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.

Resource Development:

Contribute to the development of STEM education materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and multimedia resources.

Stay updated with advancements in STEM education and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies.

Environmental Focus:

Integrate environmental sustainability themes into STEM lessons and activities.

Promote awareness of environmental issues and encourage eco-friendly practices among students.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.); Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in STEM education or training, preferably in a school or educational institution.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for STEM subjects.

Organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute engaging STEM activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
