<Duties>
- Develop and implement comprehensive STEM curricula that incorporate current scientific research, technological advancements, and educational best practices.
- Deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as coding, robotics and related disciplines, ensuring clarity and student understanding.
- Design and oversee laboratory experiments, dissections, and research projects to enhance experiential learning and scientific inquiry.
- Utilize learning technology tools to create interactive lessons and facilitate virtual or hybrid classroom experiences.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, project evaluations, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and curiosity.
- Mentor students individually or in groups to support their academic development, college readiness, and career exploration in STEM fields.
<Requirements>
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Science, Mathematics or related fields; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven classroom experience with diverse student populations; private school experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Hands-on laboratory experience with dissection techniques and research laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and curriculum development tailored to various learning styles.
- Proficiency with learning technology platforms and digital tools for instruction and assessment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate students effectively.
- Experience in classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to develop lesson plans aligned with educational standards; proofreading skills for accuracy are essential.
- Prior experience working with students in higher education settings or special education environments is advantageous.
