Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting STEM, Robotics, and Mechatronics classes, workshops, camps, and competitions.
- Support students in building, assembling, programming, and troubleshooting robotic and mechatronic systems.
- Work with platforms such as LEGO EV3 Mindstorms, LEGO SPIKE Prime, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, VEX IQ/EDR, mBots, sensors, actuators, and automation kits.
- Help students understand concepts related to:
- Robotics and Automation
- Electronics and Embedded Systems
- Sensors and Actuators
- Mechanical Design
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Basic Artificial Intelligence Applications
- Programming Logic and Computational Thinking
- Provide classroom assistance during lectures, demonstrations, and practical activities.
- Assist in preparing teaching materials, presentations, and project resources.
- Monitor student progress and maintain records of attendance, activities, and performance.
- Support the preparation of students for STEM and Robotics competitions such as WRO, FLL, VEX, and similar events.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, robotics kits, and classroom resources.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities assigned by the management.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving program delivery and student engagement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic understanding of Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, or Automation systems.
- Familiarity with programming platforms such as Scratch, Arduino IDE, Python, or block-based coding environments.
- Ability to support students in mechanical assembly and basic circuit connections.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Passion for working with children and students in educational environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, coordinators, and school staff.
- Creative mindset with problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and educational platforms.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or currently pursuing studies in:
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Robotics Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science / IT
- Related STEM fields
- Prior experience in STEM education, robotics training, coding, or student workshops is an advantage.
- Preference will be given to candidates with certifications or hands-on experience in:
- Arduino
- Raspberry Pi
- LEGO Robotics
- VEX Robotics
- IoT & Embedded Systems
- AI & Automation Technologies
