Sterile Processing Technician

The Harlem Rd. Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for a compassionate, highly organized and dependable Sterile Processing Technician to join our Team of professionals.

Job Description

• Performs quality control through daily testing and cleaning to assure sterilization equipment and instruments are functioning properly
• Inspects instruments for sharpness and proper function
• Facilitates decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation trays and Cystoscopes
• Experience with Sterrad & Steam Sterilizers preferred
• Maintain and accurately document sterilization process
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Minimum one (1) year experience working as sterile processing technician preferred
• Current certification required or obtain within 6 months of hire
• Experience working in an ambulatory center preferred but not required
  
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
