Job Title- Steward

Job Location- Gurugram

Job Summary

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. This includes cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment; supporting the kitchen team with basic tasks; and ensuring that all sanitation standards are met to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, and dishwashing areas.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Report any maintenance or equipment issues to supervisors.
  • Support chefs and service staff during peak hours.
  • Maintain organization of cleaning materials and equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in stewarding or cleaning roles (restaurant/hotel) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit to handle lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
