Steward

You will report to the Manager on Duty and your role and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following (in no particular order of priority):

• Ensure all crockery and cutlery in the BAR is washed throughout service and stored correctly.
• Manage garbage effectively ensuring that the risk of associated pests is reduced
• Floors, walls and all surfaces to be clean and sanitized regularly.
• Must understand color coding of what color relates to what type of food
• Must have knowledge of what chemicals are to be used on what surface and what machines and the ability to read dilution charts.
• Ability to lift heavy trays filled with glassware.
• Must have the ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Have great attention to detail
• Work with other servers and be a team player
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills
• The ability to work with all levels of internal staff and be able to take direction from superiors
• Housekeeping duties such as cleaning the offices, washrooms, outdoor areas and windows.
• English is the only language to be spoken at the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
