Job Summary

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all food and beverage areas, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities. The role supports kitchen and restaurant operations, ensures compliance with health and wellness standards, and contributes to an efficient, safe, and smooth operation aligned with the resort’s health-focused philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving counters, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces
  • Wash, polish, and organize dishes, utensils, cutlery, and glassware
  • Dispose of waste according to health and safety policies
  • Ensure floors, surfaces, and equipment are clean and hygienic

Cafeteria Support

  • Assist cafeteria staff with basic food handling or preparation as needed
  • Ensure clean dishes and utensils are supplied promptly to service areas
  • Help set up and clear cafeteria counters and service areas
  • Report shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Adhere to personal hygiene and uniform standards (gloves, hairnets, proper attire)
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work cooperatively with cafeteria and stewarding teams
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1,300.00 per month
