Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Stewarding Shift Leader to supervise stewarding operations during assigned shifts, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth back-of-house support in accordance with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise stewarding staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and equipment
- Maintain proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to support operations
- Monitor staff attendance, task allocation, and productivity
- Report maintenance issues and ensure proper use of equipment
- Train and guide stewarding team members on procedures and standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in stewarding, preferably in a hotel environment
- Previous supervisory or shift-leading experience is an advantage
- Good knowledge of hygiene, safety, and chemical handling
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
