Stewarding Shift Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Stewarding Shift Leader to supervise stewarding operations during assigned shifts, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth back-of-house support in accordance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise stewarding staff during assigned shifts
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and equipment
  • Maintain proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards
  • Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to support operations
  • Monitor staff attendance, task allocation, and productivity
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure proper use of equipment
  • Train and guide stewarding team members on procedures and standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in stewarding, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Previous supervisory or shift-leading experience is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of hygiene, safety, and chemical handling
  • Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
