We’re looking for a Stewarding Team Lead who’s passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times to join our production team in Kuwait.
Lead and supervise stewards, dishwashers, and kitchen utility staff.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, food preparation areas, dishwashing stations, storage rooms, and back-of-house facilities.
Monitor proper cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, glassware, and silverware.
Maintain inventory and par stock levels for operating equipment and cleaning supplies.
Coordinate with chefs, banquet teams, restaurants, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Enforce food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and workplace safety standards.
Train, coach, and evaluate stewarding staff performance.
Manage shift schedules, attendance, and daily task assignments.
Control breakage, losses, and operational costs.
Assist the Stewarding Manager and act on their behalf when required.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).
Typically 2–3 years of experience in hotel or hospitality operations, with prior stewarding supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP and sanitation procedures.
Good English & Hindi communication skills
Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation procedures for kitchens.
Ability to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, machinery, and tools.
Capable of leading a team to consistently meet standards and regulations.
Able to train and re-train new staff on hygiene and cleaning protocols.
Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
Familiarity with proper use, storage, and safety handling of cleaning chemicals, inventory management.
Clear communication skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
Punctual, reliable, and committed to high standards of cleanliness.
Proactive and takes initiative to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
Positive attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
