FULL-TIME LABORER/TRUCK DRIVER DPW POSITION

JOB DESCRIPTION

Stillwater Township is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Truck Driver/Laborer. Under immediate or general supervision, performs various types of manual, skilled, and semi-skilled tasks involved in the maintenance of public buildings, parks, grounds, and roads. Duties include but are not limited to chipping, landscaping, leaf/brush collection, shoveling, plowing, storm sewer maintenance, road work, paving, building and grounds maintenance, cleaning, and other duties related to public works projects as assigned and as needed. Must be able to lift 90 lbs. High School diploma or equivalent required. Candidate must be customer service oriented and possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, officials, and the general public. Must possess the ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks with established deadlines. A valid New Jersey Driver’s CDL Class B License in good standing is required. Will be required to work in adverse weather conditions and on an emergency basis when needed. 40 hours per week.
