Stock Associate

Job Summary

Duties

• Receive, unload, and process shipments using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to ensure efficient stock handling
• Organize and replenish merchandise on shelves, displays, and storage areas while maintaining proper inventory control
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock audits to prevent shrinkage and discrepancies
• Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing packages, labeling products, and managing inbound/outbound logistics
• Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up attractive product displays that promote sales and enhance store appearance
• Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor to ensure a safe and organized environment
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about product locations or availability in multiple languages if applicable

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail math is beneficial but not mandatory
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining safety standards and cleanliness in work areas

Pay: $22.41 - $26.99 per hour
