Stock Clerk

Grocery employees provide a high level of customer service.They are responsible for ensuring product isrotated, within date, and properly displayed on shelves. Job requiresorganizing of the dry goods in the storage area as well as keeping the shelvesstocked. They inspect displays for damaged or out-of-date items andremove such products for sale as well as attaching the price tomerchandise. Additionally, they maintaincleanliness of the grocery sections which may include cleaning shelves andcooler glass. May be required to climb ladders to access merchandise in thestorage area. Job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting a varietyof different objects varying in weight. Work shift is approximately 8 hours. Must be 18 years of age.

Dairy/Frozen employees provide a high level of customerservice and practice safe food handling procedures. The employees areresponsible for stocking shelves, sorting and rotating merchandise. They storemilk, eggs, and other dairy items as well as frozen goods in coolers andfreezers. They monitor expiration dates and remove expired items as well asattaching the price to merchandise. Additionally, they maintain cleanliness ofthe dairy and frozen sections which may include cleaning shelves and coolerglass. May be required to climb ladders to access merchandise in the storagearea. Job requires standing for longperiods of time and lifting a variety of different objects varying inweight. Work shift is approximately 8hours. Must be 18 years of age.

Produce employees provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures. Each employee receives produce delivers, builds and maintains displays and rotates stock as needed. They inspect displays for damaged or out-of-date items and remove such products for sale. They prepare product for placement on sales floor by trimming, washing, attaching price, banding and/or wrapping. May be required to climb ladders to access merchandise in the storage area. Each employee maintains a clean department including floors, tables, scales and both wet and dry racks. Job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting a variety of different objects varying in weight. Work shift is approximately 8 hours. Must be 18 years of age.

Beer, Wine, & Liquor

Beer, Wine, & Liquor employees provide a high level of customer service. They stock, arrange and rotate beer, wine, and liquor merchandise on shelves and in the storage area. May be required to climb ladders to access merchandise in the storage area. They stock beer coolers and set up displays. Stocking shelves may involve carrying large quantities of beer, liquor and wine; and involves accessing and organizing products in the back room storage area. They assist in finding items on shelves, attaching price on merchandise, recommending and selling merchandise to customers. They may be required to help maintain cleanliness of the store by dusting shelves, sweeping the sales area and stock room, as well as cleaning the cooler glass. Job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting a variety of different objects varying in weight. Must be 18 years of age.
