Stock Lead/Stock Controller

A globally recognized European fashion brand known for modern, elevated essentials is seeking a Stockroom Controller to support its boutique located at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto. This role is responsible for ensuring the stockroom runs efficiently and safely while supporting overall store operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with the store team.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand professionally at all times.
• Oversee all stockroom and off-floor operational tasks.
• Ensure deliveries are unpacked, checked, labeled, and stored correctly.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and easy-to-navigate stockroom environment.
• Manage stock inventory and product movement within the store.
• Conduct stock counts and support store stock takes.
• Ensure products are accurately labeled and stored in designated areas.
• Prepare and steam daily product replenishment for the sales floor.
• Communicate stock levels, sell-outs, and low inventory to the store manager and team.
• Prioritize merchandising actions when needed.
• Support shop floor operations when required.
• Ensure stockroom health and safety standards are met.
• Assist with back-office administrative duties.
• Adapt to new systems and support operational changes.
• Maintain professional communication via phone and email.

Qualifications

• Previous stockroom, inventory, or retail operations experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication skills
