Stocker

Big Deal Outlet Layton is looking for a dependable, fast-paced, hard worker to fill the position of Stocker. This position is part-time, Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 12:30 pm. Stockers are key to selling products at Big Deal Outlet. Getting our diverse product out is the stocker's top priority.

Main Responsibilities

Stock Shelves
Inventory Turnover
Price Labels
Displays
Cleanlines
Stocking Shelves
Fill the shelves with product
Organize the product on shelves
Fix spots on shelves where customers bought or moved product
Make sure shelves are straight and spaced appropriately
Inventory Turnover
Labels and signs changed for markdowns every week
Sitting product should be moved, opened, built, or whatever needed to help it sell
Price Labels
Every item should have a price and label, needs to be obvious which label goes to the product
Case lot vs. single prices should be easy to see
Labels need to be in label holders

Displays

Pallet displays are moved to shelves when the product is low
Pallets should be straight
Move products from mini displays if you don’t have enough backstock to fill the display
The top layer of product on the pallet displays should be opened and visible
Pallet displays should be moved every 1-2 weeks
Warehouse/Stockroom
Keep it organized to help find product
Sweep the floors
Cleanliness of Store
Garbage picked up off the sales floor
Vacuum and sweep daily
Clean the bathrooms
Empty pallets and empty product boxes should be taken off the sales floor
