Responsibilities

• Stock shelves efficiently by receiving shipments, unpacking products, and placing items in designated areas using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
• Manage inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory records with RF scanners, and ensuring accurate product placement
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by performing routine cleaning tasks, merchandising displays, and ensuring aisles are clear for customer safety
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and documenting discrepancies
• Support sales efforts through effective product placement, signage updates, and engaging with customers to answer questions about product locations or features
• Operate warehouse equipment safely including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members across departments such as cashiering, customer service, and produce to ensure smooth store operations

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory management and stock accuracy
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities preferred) to assist diverse customer needs
• Experience with warehouse operations including heavy lifting, stocking, packaging, shipping & receiving
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory control and warehouse management systems
• Knowledge of retail math for pricing adjustments and stock calculations
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items regularly while maintaining safety standards
• Customer service skills to assist shoppers effectively and create a welcoming environment
• Familiarity with grocery store operations including produce handling, merchandising, cleaning routines, and cashiering responsibilities

Pay: $22.62 - $27.24 per hour
