Stocker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Stocker to join our team and ensure our retail environment remains organized, well-stocked, and inviting for customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and efficient store. Your proactive approach will help enhance the shopping experience by ensuring products are readily available and properly displayed. Duties

• Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control and replenishment
• Operate RF scanners to track product movement and update inventory records efficiently
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other equipment
• Stock shelves with produce, grocery items, or retail merchandise following merchandising standards
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely product availability
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Support customer service efforts by providing product information and assisting with store needs
• Perform heavy lifting regularly to handle bulk products or stock items safely and effectively
• Use retail math skills to manage stock levels, pricing, and inventory adjustments accurately
• Collaborate with team members on merchandising projects to optimize product displays

Experience

• Prior warehouse or retail experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanner technology
• Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred) and pallet jacks safely
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control procedures
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages is a plus for serving diverse customers
• Experience in customer service, cashiering, or retail sales is beneficial
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods throughout shifts
• Knowledge of grocery store operations including shipping & receiving, stocking, merchandising, and cleaning tasks
