Stockroom Associate

Overview:
Under minimal supervision, performs physical labor to place stock and supplies in their proper place. Will be responsible for helping the stockroom with assembly work, as well as help with shipping & receiving. Must have a high regard to accuracy and quality. Prefer a candidate who would is reliable, can think on their feet, and take ownership/pride in the stockroom.

Essential Duties:

• Component assembly and filling customer orders
• Pulling stock components
• Processing paperwork within Novia operations department
• Inventory activities - count verification, stocking shelves, etc
• Light shipping & receiving - UPS, common carriers, salesmen, customer trucks, etc
• Collaboration & communication with all members of the Novia staff
• Moving materials through the operation of pallet jacks
• Assist co-workers and the department supervisor in meeting production targets
• Assisting with shipping, receiving, palletizing and packaging of products
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment

Ideal Candidate:

• High school graduate required
• Associates Degree preferred
• Have exceptional attention to detail and dexterity
• Ability to read orders/drawings/blue prints & paperwork
• Mechanical aptitude. MUST be able to read a measuring tape and understand numbers and figures
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and efficiently and with a good attitude
• Above average communication skills, good computer skills
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds)
• Reliable transportation required
• Construction or fabrication background preferred
• Painting experience preferred
• Truck driving (non CDL) experience a plus

Other Information:

• Hourly - Full Time (M-F; 7:00AM-3:30PM; potential overtime opportunities)
• Works out of our Manchester NH location, 983 S. Mammoth Rd
• Weekly pay on Thursdays
