Storage Engineer

Role Scope

• Provide end‑to‑end administration, design, and support for enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, object storage).
• Act as the final escalation point (L3) for incidents, performance issues, and capacity planning.
• Lead migration, modernization, and optimization projects across multi‑vendor storage platforms (HPE, NetApp, EMC, Dell, Hitachi).
• Ensure storage infrastructure is resilient, secure, and compliant across production and DR environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Storage Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain SAN/NAS arrays (HPE 3PAR/Primera, NetApp ONTAP, EMC VNX/Unity, Dell PowerStore/Compellent, Hitachi VSP).
• Manage zoning, LUN provisioning, snapshots, and replication.
• Monitor performance and capacity utilization.
• Performance & Troubleshooting
• Resolve escalated storage incidents (latency, IOPS bottlenecks, disk failures).
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Use vendor tools (NetApp OnCommand, EMC Unisphere, Dell OpenManage, Hitachi Ops Center).
• Backup & Recovery Integration
• Integrate storage with enterprise backup solutions (Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam, TSM).
• Configure replication and disaster recovery strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
