Responsibilities

Inventory management: Receive, inspect, count, and store incoming goods.

Track stock levels and conduct regular inventory counts.

Manage and organize stock in a proper and accessible manner.

Order and receiving: Process and document all merchandise received from suppliers.

Check for discrepancies and damage in deliveries.

Handle and prepare items for shipment or return to vendors.

Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.

Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued, and update inventory management systems.

Stock maintenance: Rotate stock to ensure older items are used first (FIFO).

Dispose of obsolete or surplus stock according to company policy.

Warehouse upkeep: Keep the store or warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

Communication and reporting: Report any inventory issues, such as damage or discrepancies, to the relevant parties.

Prepare requisitions for supplies and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
