Job Summary
The Store Incharge will be responsible for managing project stores, including receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, and equipments. The role ensures proper documentation, stock accuracy, and compliance with company and project procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans
- Maintain proper storage, stacking, and labeling of materials to avoid damage or loss
- Issue materials to site teams against authorized requisitions
- Maintain daily stock records, bin cards, GRNs, issue registers, and material ledgers
- Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained
- Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and vendors for material planning
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure proper handling of tools, plants, and consumables
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and consumption reports
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area
- Ensure compliance with project safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
- Certification or training in Store / Inventory Management is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as Store Incharge in construction / infrastructure projects
- Experience in highway, industrial, or large infrastructure projects preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and inventory control
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations
- Familiarity with ERP / inventory software (if applicable)
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
- Honest, organized, and detail-oriented

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
